Marvel revealed the new story arcs coming with the launch of Marvel Legacy that fire up burning questions about the future of classic heroes and villains and the newer heroes who might be up for a major changes in their status quo. This follows Marvel revealing GIF covers for the new issues paying homage of some of the publisher’s most iconic moments and classic covers.
Marvel Legacy begins with a one-shot by Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic which starts in the distant past with the “prehistoric Avengers” and sets the stage for iconic characters and the newer Legacy heroes that share the same code-name. Generations books will feature stories of past and present characters with the same famous handle teaming up.
Along with the arcs, titles are returning to their original numbering like INVINCIBLE IRON MAN in the 500’s, INCREDIBLE HULK in the 700’s but it’s the milestone MIGHTY THOR #700 that could mark a major status quo change.
