Classic Marvel icons team up with the modern day heroes who share their famous code-names. Mar-Vell, the original Wolverine, Bruce Banner – back from the dead? Two Thors fighting together? Spider-Men meet again? The Phoenix rises again?
Marvel shared new details of GENERATIONS, the ten part series that will see the return of dead heroes and legacy heroes teaming with the icons that inspired them. Marvel revealed each issue with a title befitting the heroes who share the famous name:

GENERATIONS: THE AMERICAS starring Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson by Nick Spencer and Paul Renaud
GENERATIONS: THE BRAVEST starring Captain Mar-Vell and Captain Marvel by Margie Stohl and Brent Schoonover
GENERATIONS: THE THUNDER starring The Mighty Thor and The Unworthy Thor by Jason Aaron and Mahmud Asrar
GENERATIONS: THE STRONGEST starring Bruce Banner and Amadeus Cho by Greg Pak
GENERATIONS: THE ARCHERS starring Clint Barton and Kate Bishop by Kelly Thompson
GENERATIONS: THE IRON starring Iron Man and Ironheart by Brian Michael Bendis and Marco Rudy

“Do all of our heroes emerge from GENERATIONS as they entered, or become something greater?” teased Editor-In-Chief Axel Alonso on Marvel.com.
The ten issue maxi series runs August to September and “will shed light on the most pressing questions abou the future of the Marvel Universe, and the fate of everyone’s favorite heroes.”
SECRET EMPIRE #0 arrived this week. No word on how the event series starring Steve Rogers leading the Hydra takeover will impact this series or how GENERATIONS will fit into current storylines.
