X-Man. Friend. Ally. Enemy.
After the Death of Wolverine, how will Logan’s friends, teammates and foes react to the X-Man’s demise?
Marvel announced a 7-part limited series called Death of Wolverine: The Logan Legacy. The first and final chapters written by Death of Wolverine writer Charles Soule. The other chapters will focus on Logan’s most vicious rivals and one starring his daughter, X-23.
The creators revealed how they chose which characters from Logan’s life to be part his series honoring the X-Man.
“We intentionally picked characters with close ties to Logan, either through past history—Deathstrike and Sabretooth—or through genetics—Daken and X-23. Mystique is a bit of a wildcard in the mix,” said X-Men Editor Mike Marts on Marvel.com.
“It’s also about choosing a group that could be given a very full set of character beats. The way these people related to Logan—and to each other—varies drastically from person to person. So, we get to illuminate a different aspect of Wolverine through these various points of view, and have rich mines to vein for upcoming stories.” added Soule.
