MARK WAID On COULSON and New S.H.I.E.L.D. Comic

A brand new S.H.I.E.L.D. series starring Agent Phil Coulson was one of the big Marvel announcements at San Diego Comic Con.

Mark Waid (Daredevil, Captain America, Hulk) launches the series in which any Marvel hero could be recruited by Coulson and his team.

He’s amazing at his job, he’s badass, he’s funny—and he loves the history of the Marvel Universe as much as I do,” Waid told Marvel.com.about the appear on writing Coulson.Waid confirmed Melinda May, Fitz and Simmons from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be in the Marvel comic universe and part of the series.

S.H.I.E.L.D. #1 by Waid and Carlos Pacheco arrives in December. After the first arc, Waid will be joined by Alan Davis, then Chris Sprouse with more all-star artists lining up.

Fans of Mockingbird learned the famous agent (Bobbi Morse) will appear on season two of the television series. No actress has been cast yet.
