If you’ve seen the Man of Steel trailer you can see the earth quake as Superman takes off. It’s no gentle liftoff but a blast. Superman’s flying affects the atmosphere causing a sonic boom.
Henry Cavill is soaring as Superman over Metropolis in this new poster from Warner Brothers on Yahoo. Kal-El looks like a determined missile. Flying for this hero is work according to director Zach Snyder.
“It’s a more violent experience,” Snyder tells SFX Magazine.
“It’s raw. It takes effort to do it, and that’s what we were really going for. It’s almost like there’s this kind of ‘Right Stuff’ quality to it.”
Man of Steel opens June 14th.
