More action. More drama. More explosions. More psychotic Zod. More Lois Lane. Take a look at the new trailer for Man of Steel:
Man of Steel is produced by Christopher Nolan and directed by Zach Snyder with Henry Cavill as Superman. This does feel like a Superman: Year One or Superman Begins if you will.
Here are some thoughts after the new trailer:
Jor-El (Russell Crowe) was a rebel on Krypton by allowing his child to be free to choose his own destiny.
It looks like Superman’s home planet was in a civil war (instead of a natural disaster) when his parents blasted him into space.
Zod (Michael Shannon) is the psychotic military leader we know from the comics who appears to be obsessed with freeing Kal-El from the humans.
Reporter Lois Lane (Amy Adams) has been tracking the story of a mystery man/hero who turns out to be Kal-El. Is it possible that there is no Clark Kent in this film?
