Kyle MacLachlan (Portlandia, Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Dune) will join Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in a critical role connected to the show’s biggest mystery!
His role is “The Doctor” but not that Doctor!

The big question about the rookie recruit’s parents were a central part of the first season. The season one finale featured the villainess Raina finding a mystery man, holding Skye’s photo and declaring, “I found your daughter.”
MacLachlan will play Skye’s father according to TV Line. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D returns September 23rd at 9pm.
