As geeks in Northwest America count down to Emerald City Comicon I look forward to seeing my favorite X-Men couple! Yes, Kitty Pryde and Colossus have broken up in the comic books. Peter was possessed by a demon, then the Phoenix go give the guy a break. Kitty is taking a cue from the movie and moving on to Iceman. Old school fans can relive classic Kitty and Colossus at the Seattle event. I met this cute cosplay couple at Emerald City Comicon last year. The two were a hit at a Marvel panel when they ask X-Men related questions – Peter, I should say Piotr even asked in a Russian accent. I saw them a new months later at Jet City Comic Show.
It was a reunion with my favorite X-Men couple (Seattle’s own Kitty Pryde and Colossus.) Since I last saw this costumed couple at Emerald City Comicon the cosplay couple has added some fine touches.
Kitty had added Lockheed the dragon and Peter was sporting a new optic option to give him the complete organic steel look!
I’m hoping to see the Kitty Pryde and Colossus of the Northwest at this year’s Emerald City Comicon! Here’s to the Cosplayers! Thanks for your enthusiasm and for helping the rest of us have a photo op with our favortie heroes!
