Yes, that’s Batman and Wonder Woman from the classic television series and yes, they will meet up in a new comic book crossover in a case of “because you demanded it!”

The new year brings new books, new heroes, big crossovers and a major villain’s comeback.

Here are our big highlights from DC Comics coming in January 2017.

The Kamandi Challenge #1

Kamandi, hero of a post-apocalyptic Earth and creation of the legendary Jack Kirby. Announced at ECCC, 14 creative teams will take on the title character on a quest to find his parents and journey to known and unknown parts of the DC Universe. Each chapter ends with a cliffhanger and the next team must resolve it before creating their own. In the first issue, The Last Boy On Earth begins his journey by Dan Abnett, Dan Didio, Dale Eaglesham, Keith Giffen and Scott Koblish with a Bruce Timm cover.

Justice League vs Suicide Squad #3-6 continues the battle between DC’s biggest teams after the League learns of Task Force X. In the epilogue aka Suicide Squad #10, how will Amanda Waller tries to clean up her mess after her darkest secrets are revaled. Is this the end of Waller? And in the aftermath aka Justice League #12, the rebirth of one of the DC Universe’s most cunning villains! Who is it?

All-Star Batman #6

Cold to the Core begins as the Dark Knight hunts Mr. Freeze and Jock joins Scott Snyder.

Batgirl #7

Son of Penguin begins as Babs returns to Burnside to meet the new tech mogul in her hood that’s the estranged son of the crime boss.

Batman #14

I Am Suicide epilogue as Batman and Catwoman “confront their past and make a decision about their future that may change their city forever.”

Batman #15

Streets and Swamps as Swamp Thing comes to Gotham City.

Detective Comics #948, 949

Batwoman Begins is the two-part that will launch the upcoming solo book starring Kate Kane. Marguerite Bennett joins James Tynion IV for Bruce and Kate’s investigation Gotham’s strange her borough”Monstertown” and The Colony wants her father back.

Harley Quinn #11, 12

Joker Loves Harley begins as Harley meets a newer, kinder Joker? Has her crazy ex really “reformed” or is the joke on Harley and Red Tool?

The Flash #14,15

Rogues Reloaded begins as Barry Allen learns his greatest enemies are teaming up for a massive heist.

Superman #14,15

Multiplicity begins! Who is collecting Supermen from across the Multiverse? Kal-El and New Super-Man team up with an army of Men of Steel trying to wipe them all out.

Titan #7

Wally West meets the Man of Steel and recognize each other from another world. Is this a major clue to the big mystery set up in DC Universe Rebirth? Plus, see the new Titans Tower.

Deathstoke #11 marks the return of Jack Ryder aka The Creeper.
