He’s even giving Jeremy Renner advice on playing the Avenging Archer.
Marvel shared this look at Whedon and Renner on the set of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Principal photography is wrapped up on the sequel which hits May 1, 2015.
Renner reprises his role as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and expert marksman Clint Barton aka Hawkeye. Renner’s uniform covers a little more skin and features more of Hawkeye’s signature dark purple.
Clint and Black Widow share a past and attraction in the movies but comic book fans are excited by two other romantic connections: Natasha hooks up with Bucky Barnes the Winter Soldier. Hawkeye marries Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird.
Adrienne Palicki is joining Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this fall as Morse. Could this mean a potential Hawkeye cameo or full guest appearance?
