After Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice it’s the rise of the bad guys according to Warner Brothers plans for the DC Comics inspired movies.

Oscar winner Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club) is being sought to play the Joker according to The Wrap. There’s no official word from Warner Brothers or Leto’s representatives. Tom Hardy, Will Smith and Margot Robbie are in discussion for roles according to the report. Ronbie (The Wolf of Wall Street) could be Harley Quinn.
Jessie Eisenberg is playing Lex Luthor in the Dark Knight/Man of Steel showdown and it’s likely he could appear in Suicide Squad, Justice League and the Man of Steel sequel.
Suicide Squad (aka Task Force X) is a team of villains given a shot at redemption and freedom working on missions for the government. Amanda Waller (aka The Wall) is a former Congressional aide and agent who runs the secret operation out of Belle Reve Prison.
The current team in comics is made of Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, Black Manta, Joker’s Daughter and Deadshot.

Lex Luthor and Joker are the most famous villains in the DC Comics Universe. The Superman and Batman arch rivals could be recurring characters in Suicide Squad, Justice League Parts 1 & 2 before Man of Steel 2 and a possible Batman solo film starring Ben Affleck.
Darkseid is still the biggest, most powerful villain of DC Comics. It’s likely Darkseid and his forces of Apokolips (Desaad, Kalibak, Glorious Godfrey, Parademons, Female Furies) will be the big threat in Justice League.
