John Barrowman (Torchwood) returned to Arrow this season as Malcolm Merlyn after his villainous character narrowly survived the first season.
Stephen Amell announced Barrowman will be a series regular next season via Twitter.
This season it was revealed that Merlyn is the the father of Oliver’s sister.
