Jamie Foxx as Spawn?
The Oscar winner plays Spidey villain Electro in Amazing Spider-Man 2 next year but has an Image hero on his wish list.
“Spawn is one, yeah. And Mike Tyson. Those are two roles I would just love to do. I’m aggressively pursuing them,” Foxx told Movies.com.
Spawn is the creation of Todd McFarlane. Al Simmons was a soldier turned assassin who was betrayed and killed. Al became a “Hellspawn” in a deal with a demonic force order to see his wife again.
Michael Jai White played the hero in a 1997 film. The dark hero inspired an HBO animated series, more comic series (Curse of the Spawn) and an incredible action figures empire.
