This could be a makeup test.
Nicholas Hoult will reprise his role as the younger Henry McCoy in the prequel/sequel that unites actors from X-Men: First Class and the original X-Men trilogy. The story is set in the past and the future so this could be an older version of the Beast given the gray hair!
In the All-New X-Men comic book Beast reverted into a new look that’s more simian than cat and Hank brought the original X-Men from the past into the present.
