The Eisner-award winning team of Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale reunite to bring you the next story in their ‘color’ book series starring the Sentinel of Liberty.

Marvel announced CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHITE #1 will arrive this September and shared this first look at Sale’s art.

This new installment follows SPIDER-MAN: BLUE, DAREDEVIL: YELLOW, and HULK: GRAY. CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHITE is the continuation of the unique collaboration between Loeb and Sale with an all-new story starring Steve Rogers.

“This is a very special project to me, something that I can honestly say is a career highlight,” says series editor Mark Paniccia. “Jeph and Tim put their hearts and souls into this series and have produced—along with color guru Dave Stewart and the design geniuses at Comiccraft—what I think the best of their iconic collaborations.”

From the publisher:
“Peel back the layers of Steve Rogers with this untold tale of Captain America in WWII, as he defended the world from the forces of evil, and met a young man named Bucky Barnes who would change his life forever.  Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale’s combination of in-depth characterization and high stakes takes on one of Captain America’s most dangerous missions of all!”
