The Inhumans conquer the Marvel Universe?
After releasing teasers for tied to events and stories of the past Marvel reveals a possible all-new story for 2015: Inhumans: Attilan Rising.
Medusa, Black Bolt, Gorgon and NuHumans like Inferno standing triumphantly over Cyclops, Captain America, Thor and Superior Iron Man.
This could be the start of Black Bolt’s endgame that began in Infinity when he destroyed Attilan and unleashed Terrigenesis Bomb on the world which triggered a new generation of new Inhumans aka NuHumans.
Inhuman #7 is a key issue to watch this week. The world believes Black Bolt is dead after this encounter with Thanos in Infinity. The King and his brother Maximus the Mad have been working with the Illuminati to save Earth from incursions by rival worlds in New Avengers.
Medusa has rebuilt Attilan, tried to hold on to her throne from rivals and rescue NuHumans. This has brought the Queen into intense situations with Avengers, and S.H.I.E.L.D.
The teasers tied to previous events like Planet Hulk and Civil War could be alternate worlds we’ll explore in Secret Wars by Jonathan Hickman. Attilan Rising could be a brand new story with ties to Hickman’s final issues of Avengers, New Avengers set in the near future.
With rumors of a movie and Marvel exclusive writer Charles Soule on board – the Inhumans are very important and integral to the Marvel Universe.
Although she’s not on the teaser, the new Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) is a NuHuman but has not allied herself with Medusa.
Attilan Rises in 2015 but this week the Boltagon brothers return in Inhuman #7.
