Infinity #1 is out this week but Marvel is already sharing a look at how the massive event will end. Infinity is the big finish to what Jonathan Hickman has built in Avengers and New Avengers.
Thanos is back. Skrulls are back. Inhumans play a huge role. Mysterious new aliens make a move on Earth. The Avengers will have to the Universe’s Mightiest Heroes to stop the Mad God of Titan and his army of alien enforcers.
Infinity #6 by Hickman and artist Jim Cheung will be the final showdown between Marvel’s heroes and the forces of Thanos. Terry Dodson and Adam Kubert created two stunning variant covers for the double-sized finale.
Avengers #23 by Hickman and Leinil Yu is billed as the Avengers vs. The Black Order (the new henchmen and women of Thanos)
New Avengers #12 is the fall of the House of Black Bolt. Marvel has already promised the next big event is Inhumanity and a brand new Inhuman series by Matt Fraction is coming in 2014 but no one said it would be the same Royal Family ruling the Inhumans. Medusa is a cast member of FF.
There’s been very little teased about the Kree and their involvement with Infinity. Will the Kree support or ignore the Inhumans they created in the war with Thanos? Could this be a “House of M” moment for the children of the Terrigen Mist?
