Logan and Storm shared a passionate kiss on the cover of Wolverine and the X-Men #24, but will she get to say goodbye before he dies?
Logan has been a friend, teammate, mentor and recently lover of Ororo. While that famous kiss wasn’t the first – fans are wondering if the two X-Men will get to share a moment before he leaves.
Death of Wolverine #4 is when the once immortal mutant will die. Storm #4 will be the aftermath of that historic issue.
“As Storm #4 begins, she first mourns her lover. Spectacularly. You won’t see this coming. But this is how a goddess mourns,” writer Greg Pak told Marvel.com.
“But as the story progresses, she’ll uncover some of Wolverine’s unfinished business. And she’ll have to confront his mixed legacy—and delve deeply into those aspects of his life and work that he kept secret from her, for good reason. It’s a two-part story that plays out in Storm #4 and #5 and asks the question of how well we really know the people we love the most.”
