Confession:
This lifelong comic book fan has never cosplayed for a comicon or Halloween.
Last Halloween I did an impromptu Cyclops with a genetically altered with X-Men gear track jacket and a pair of visors that would impress Scott Summers.
This year I may actually go out as a superhero for Halloween and this would be a test run for Emerald City Comicon 2015.
I kept thinking of the coolness and simplicity of Alex Summers aka Havok.
The young brother of Cyclops first appeared way back in X-Men #54 by Arnold Drake, Don Heck and Neal Adams. Havok would plasma blast as an X-Man, two versions of X-Factor and even his own Mutant X series. Alex leads the Unity squad in Uncanny Avengers and will play a critical role in Avengers and X-Men: AXIS.
