Will Harley Quinn ring in the new year with a deadly reunion in an old haunt?
In the DC Comics January previews we learned Harley is going back to where she was born in Harley Quinn #24. Is the hit series known for humor and fun taking a dark turn that’s no laughing matter?
Here’s the official description:
“Harley’s got an endangered friend to save, but there’s just one problem: she’s got to get through Arkham Asylum first! Unsurprisingly, Harley’s not eager to set foot in the site of some of her darkest hours…and she definitely isn’t ready to face a certain someone who’s laughing at the end of a dark hallway…”
The psychiatrist turn madwoman was born in Arkham Asylum thanks to the Joker.
Is the Joker returning?
We haven’t seen the Clown Prince of Crime since the Endgame finale in Batman #40 when was left bleeding and buried under Gotham City. But Joker and Batman were presumed dead but Bruce Wayne is alive and a changed man.
