Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry is at San Diego Comic-Con to promote the return of her sci-fi hit series Extant.

X-fans will see Berry in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past – The Rogue Cut but would love to hear her say she’s playing Ororo one more time.

Alexandra Shipp is playing a younger version of the future mutant hero in X-Men: Apocalypse which is set in the 1980’s.

As Fox continues to mutate the film franchise (Deadpool, New Mutants, Gambit, Wolverine) would she ever return for a Storm solo spinoff?

“In a heartbeat. In a heartbeat I would do a Storm movie. I love that character through and through. So if that ever became an opportunity for me if it’s before I’m 65-years old I would absolutely do that.” Berry told Deadline.

If Deadpool and Gambit are hits could lightning strike for Storm?

“Well, I think they should do it. If the fans want that the fans need to speak up and I’m sure it would be a possibility. If Fox felt like they could make money off of a Storm movie I’m sure they would do it.”

Don’t underestimate the power of Storm fans. When rumors circulated of the Storm solo comic book being called a #SaveStorm campaign hit social media. Storm is now the team leader of Extraordinary X-Men by Jeff Lemire and Humberto Ramos. Coming after Secret Wars this October, this will be the flagship book of the X-Men franchise.
