Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Baby Groot are on off on a new adventure will Yondu and the Ravagers in pursuit.
We don’t know what the massive monster is but we do have some follow-up on the mystery woman at the end!

Mantis (Pom Klementieff) is the newest member of the stellar cast who appears to be revealing the Peter Quill’s inner feelings in the new trailer’s final moments.
In the comics Mantis a key player in The Celestial Madonna, one of the greatest Avengers epics. Mantis is a human brought to study with the Priests of Pama, a sect of the Kree living on Earth. The blue-skinned warrior aliens (Ronan from the first Guardians film and as seen on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) believe Mantis would grow to mate with an elder member of the Cotati (telepathic evolved plants) aliens and produce a cosmic being, The Celestial Madonna. The martial artist expert also possesses the powers of empathy, astral projection, ability to communicate with the Cotati and plants.
If the movie version follows comics canon could Mantis become a mother figure to Baby Groot?
