Gail Simone (Batgirl) is bringing on the bad guys and girls in a brand new Secret Six.
The fan-favorite writer will relaunch Secret Six into the New 52 with new rogues to root for. DC comics made the announcement via the Hero Complex.
So far on Catman and Black Alice are on the team Simone calls the “Twin Peaks of superhero comics” with six strangers trapped in a room with no idea how they got there.
This will mark the New 52 debut of the hunter and supernatural teen.
The lead will be Catman. Simone turned the derided Batman foe into a fan-favorite anti-hero before the New 52 reboot in Villains United and the first volume. The new version designed by artist Dale Eaglesham will be different that the previous Catman.
“He’s more dangerous,” Simone told Hero Complex, “This kitten has claws.”
Ken Lashley (Superman:Doomed) will be the interior artist.
Secret Six #1 arrives in December.
