Jason Momoa is the King of Seven Seas.
Now he has a Captain steering his cinematic solo voyage.
James Wan (Furious 7, Insidious, The Conjuring, Saw) will develop and direct Aquaman for Warner Brothers and Robotech for Sony according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Momoa will first appear at Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016.
The Aquaman film will focus on the reluctant ruler of Atlantis, torn between the underwater and surface worlds.Charles Roven, Zack and Deborah Snyder are producing.
Momoa will then appear in the two-part Justice League films uniting all of DC’s major heroes.
