Santa Claus is coming to town but just days before Christmas, The Free Comic Book Day Committee reveals the first books for Free Comic Book Day 2018 – the other geeky holiday!

FCBD happens each year on the first Saturday in May at participating comic book shops. Next year’s event takes place on May 5th, 2018.

The FCBD Committee revealed the twelve Gold Sponsor comic book titles for the comic book industry’s big event of 2018. There are a total of fifty – free for fans.

These titles are curated by over twenty comic shop retailers who make up the FCBD Selection Committee. The comics star superheroes, to popular films and television show characters, video game franchises characters, and all-ages favorites.

Here are the twelve Gold Sponsor title with official descriptions:

RIVERDALE

Set in the same universe as the hit CW series, this issue gives us a peek into all the secrets Pop Tate overhears in his day-to-day business, told through four vignettes in four different booths! Features reprint material.

MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS SPECIAL
