Comic books are packed with champions of justice who use their human minds and bodies to fight crime and beat bad guys. Inspired by Powerless, Damage Control, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and all those non-costumed characters here are the most powerful, popular but powerless comic book heroes.

Tony Stark

Billionaire genius inventor with a super ego, Stark creates suits of high-tech armor to save the world as Iron Man. The Armored Avenger. Tony is currently of action but chose teen genius Riri Williams to carry on his legacy.

Bruce Wayne

The orphan took his grief and rage to train his body and mind. He became one of the world’s greatest detectives, a master of martial arts and various fighting styles and inventor of an arsenal of weapons, vehicles.

Dick Grayson

Raised in the circus, born to be an acrobatic star on the trapeze – Dick became an orphan taken in my Bruce Wayne. After years of being a sidekick, the original Robin became Nightwing, leader of the Teen Titans, champion of the Bludhaven neighborhood of Gotham City and at one time, DC’s greatest super spy.

Barbara Gordon

The police commissioner’s daughter led a secret life as a costumed crime fighter until the Joker’s attack left her in a wheelchair but not silenced. Barbara became Oracle, a genius level hacker and the ultimate computer expert for DC’s heroes. Barbara is back fighting as Batgirl again.

Kate Kane

An heiress to one of Gotham City’s founding families, Kate joined the United States military academy where she was  top student until she was forced to leave when he lesbian relationship was discovered. Kate highly skilled martial artists, detective and armed with high-tech weapons and training from her father.

Frank Castle

The former turned vigilante anti-hero uses his military training,
guerilla tactics, expert marksmanship, demolitions and special operations training to become a one-man war on crime.

Hawkeye/Clint Barton & Kate Bishop

Clint and his brother ran away with a carnival where he was trained as a skilled archer and became an unwilling criminal. Armed with a quiver of trick arrows, incredible archery skills and commitment to staying a peak condition, Clint became a fan-favorite Avenger and solo hero. Clint is now starring in Occupy Avengers, a road trip book with other non-powered heroes. Kate Bishop refused to be a victim. After a tragic assault, Kate became committed to learning martial arts, fighting skills and her love of archery. Kate became a Young Avenger, Clint’s protegee and now works as a private investigator.

Oliver Queen

Seattle billionaire Oliver Queen always loved archery. When Ollie was shipwrecked on a mysterious island he became a mastery of archery and martial arts. Queen returned to civilization as a masked vigilante to take on crime lords, drug dealers and human traffickers. Queen fights alongside the big guns of the Justice League but he’s most famous as social justice warrior Green Arrow in Seattle.

Selina Kyle

An expert burglar and gymnast armed with whips, claws and pitons – Selina is Catwoman, villain and often anti-hero of Gotham City.
