What a gorgeous Marvel gathering on what might be the cover of the week!
It’s the end of an era this week with Fantastic Four #16 – the final issues of the series and the final issues (along with FF #16) of Editor Tom Brevoort’s run with Marvel’s First Family.
These January finales are the end of Brevoort’s 14o+ issues as editor.
Here’s the official word on Fantastic Four #16:
“The Fantastic Four are… DOOMED! Dr. Doom has taken on the power of Kang and Annihilus and is supreme ruler of the entire world. Good News: this is in the Doomed Universe. Bad News: our universe is next. The only ones in his way are the Fantastic Four and… the Fantastic Four! What will happen to the Richards/Storm/Grimm clan and their extended family:
Marvel’s First Family will return in Fantastic Four #1 by James Robinson and Leonard Kirk.
She-Hulk is getting her own series by Charles Soule.
Medusa will star in an upcoming Inhumanity one-shot and be in the cast of Inhuman, also by Charles Soule.
No word on She-Thing or Scott Lang. Stay tuned.
