Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are among the missing heroes from the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now but is the First Family poised for a comeback?

The Fantastic Four titled ended earlier this year. After Secret Wars, Johnny Storm is in love with Medusa and past of the Uncanny Inhumans cast. Ben Grimm will be a member of the new Guardians of the Galaxy.

But what about Reed, Sue, Franklin and Valeria?

Marvel hinted at the future during the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now panel at New York Comic Con.

“You gotta wait til Secret Wars is over to find out what’s happening with Reed, Sue, and the kids, but you’re getting the biggest Fantastic Four story ever.” said Editor Nick Lowe.

Reed, Sue, Valeria, Franklin and the Future Foundation kids are caught up in Doctor Doom’s Battleworld in Secret Wars. Doom took remnants of the destroyed Marvel Multiverse to create a new world with himself as God and Sue as his consort and Valeria on his side. Reed and Franklin are separately fighting to make things right, expose the truth and defeat Doom.

Marvel expanded the epic story by Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic to nine issues. The final chapter will arrive in December. The All-New, All-Different Marvel Now just launched and is set 8 months after the finale.

Last week we got a huge twist in the mystery of what will happen to Reed, Sue and Doom in the new Iron Man series by Brian Michael Bendis.

SPOILER ALERT!

If you have not read Invincible Iron Man #1 yet stop reading now…

OK.

Here it comes.

Tony Stark heads to Latveria in the final page of Invincible Iron Man #1 and on the final page we see a man claiming to be Victor Von Doom (and Stark’s bioscan confirms it.)

This man is in a business suit, no mask and looks younger with only 1 small scar instead of the face we’re familiar with that the villain hides under a metal mask.

Von Doom tells Tony, “we need each other.”

Does this mean Reed loses Secret Wars to Doom?
