Civil War II strikes into the hearts of Tony Stark and Carol Danvers and the U.S. Agent is back in Marvel’s September 2016 previews.

Iron Man was front and center as the flagship book of the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now with two books by fan-favorite writer Brian Michael Bendis.

Will Tony be dramatically changed or survive the aftermath of Civil War II and the launch of Marvel Now! initiative this fall?

Here are the big highlights:

Civil War #6 Captain Marvel vs Iron Man over the future of the Marvel Universe, one of the biggest battles in Marvel history in the penultimate chapter of the event by Bendis and David Marquez.

Invincible Iron Man #13 also by Brian Michael Bendis. “It’s the end of an era as the events of Civil War II come right to Tony Stark’s door. Could this be the end of Iron Man as we know him?”

International Iron Man #7  by Bendis. Tony finds out the truth about his parents and their connection to the history of the Marvel Universe

Captain Marvel #9 by Ruth and Chris Gage and Kris Anka finds Carol Danvers in crisis over her stance in the Civil War “…as friendships turn cold, she has to decide how far she’s willing to go…”

Captain America: Steve Rogers #6 by Nick Spencer and Javier Pina. With the universe at war, “Steve fights for peace.” Is this all part of Hydra’s endgame or can the Steve we know and love still be inside the Hydra agent? Captain Marvel will guest star.

Captain America: Sam Wilson #13 by Nick Spencer and Daniel Acuna. Captain America vs U.S. Agent.

Civil War II: Choosing Sides finale with Nick Fury, Jessica Jones and White Fox.

Civil War II: X-Men, Gods of War, Amazing Spider-Man tie-in books all reach final issues.

Uncanny Avengers #15 Mutant members go rogue as they search for cure to the Terrigen Mist threat killing mutants.

Uncanny X-Men #12, 13 The X-Men join the Hellfire Club? Which of Magneto’s squad will join their enemies to save the race?

Ultimates #11 A team divided and who is the Thanos’s new Acolyte?

The biggest question of all:

If Captain American can turn out to be a Hydra sleeper agent and War Machine can get killed off, what could Marvel have planned for Iron Man?

Given his actions in Civil War II, the ramification of losing his best friend, his rift with the Avengers and the truth of his parents – is this the end of Tony Stark?
