Marvel makes if official: Drew Goddard will be the Executive Producer and showrunner of the new Daredevil series from Marvel and Netflix.
The writer/director with credits including Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Lost, Cabin in the Woods, Cloverfield and World War Z will write and direct the first episode setting the tone for the series.
Daredevil is just one of 4 new series (Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist) produced by Marvel and Netflix that will lead into a Defenders event series. The 13 episode Daredevil series debuts in 2015.
