Marvel makes it official:
Dominic Cooper will reprise his role as Howard Stark on Marvel’s Agent Carter in 2015.
Cooper played Iron Man’s father in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The American industrialist was key to the creation of the first Super Soldier, winning World War II and the founding of what would become S.H.I.E.L.D.
Hayley Atwell returns as Peggy Carter in the new television series set after WWII. Carter will go on secret missions for Stark. We saw Cooper’s cameo from the Agent Carter: One-Shot in the promotion of the new series but now it’s official.
Agent Carter will air in 2015 when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. takes a break.
A character to watch for: Maria Collins Carbonell – the future Mrs. Stark and Tony’s mother.
