The Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special is this weekend on BBC. Whovians who’ve been following the 50th Anniversary comic book celebration get an early treat this week: the finale of the year-long comic book story starring all the Time Lords and some of your favorite companions and villains.
IDW Publishing (via Facebook) shared this stunning image by Francesco Francavilla collecting all the Doctor Who: Prisoners of Time covers into one “fantastic” poster.
The epic story featured all eleven Doctors in a search for their kidnapped companions. There have been some creative mashups, too. For example, the Fourth Doctor and Leela encountered the Judoon, aliens created in the Tenth Doctor era.
The Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) confronted the mystery villain behind the cosmic abductions and is now faced with an impossible choice – he can only save one of the companions from certain death. Then again, this is Doctor Who and impossible is his specialty!
Doctor Who: Prisoners of Time #12 arrives Wednesday.
