Jason Aaron and Chris Bachalo conjure up a brand new Doctor Strange ongoing series this October.
Marvel shared a preview of Bachalo’s art as he brings his unmistakable style to the Master of the Mystic Arts.
The creative team previously worked together on launching Wolverine and the X-Men.
Bachalo has a long history with the Children of the Atom including co-creating Generation X, with several X-Men runs including launching the Brian Michael Bendis Uncanny X-Men era and the original Age of Apocalypse.
Doctor Strange marks a return to the supernatural. Bachalo’s early work included Vertigo’s Shade, The Changing Man and Death with Neil Gaiman.
Aaron and Bachalo will chronicle new adventures of the Sorcerer Supreme as he faces a new dark power threatening all magic users.
Marvel announced legendary Kevin Nowlan will illustrate a a bonus five-page story setting other story elements for the series.
Doctor Strange #1 arrives October 7th.
