Deadpool is going to work for Dracula?

At New York Comic Con Marvel revealed the Merc with a Mouth goes on a mission for the Lord of the Vampires in its next Infinite Comic: Deadpool: The Gauntlet.

Writer Gerry Duggan explains the how Wade gets his new mission on a new medium on Marvel.com.

“After the events of ‘The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly,’ Deadpool will have really had it with most basic human interactions. Dracula, is at least not human, but Deadpool’s not in the mood for people anyway. The gig Dracula has Deadpool in mind for isn’t one that comes with any moral quandaries. He’s essentially a courier in this role.”

“Dracula has some decent reasons for asking Deadpool to collect this package for him,” he promises. “His inherent resistance to mind control is of some importance.”

Reilly Brown will be the artist.

The story in The Gauntlet will feed into Deadpool #27.

Deadpool: The Gauntlet #1 will hit tablets and phones in January. Feels like just yesterday when I ran to the comic shop for Deadpool: The Circle Chase, Wade’s first limited series after blowing away readers in X-Force.
