Will Harley Quinn and more villains join DC’s biggest team in the DC Universe: Rebirth?
DC Entertainment co-publishers Dan DiDio, Jim Lee and Chief Creative Officer/Writer Geoff Johns will announce new details forDC Universe: Rebirth line wide June re-launch at WonderCon this Saturday.
Tonight’s short video finally showed us a peak behind the blue curtain as we saw silhouettes of ten characters with a quick zoom into to one character in color followed by a flash then the word “Redemption” followed by the return of Rebirth and the blue curtain and a reminder of this weekend’s big media event.
Is this a promotional image or is this the new Justice League roster?
It’s easy an guess that Batman, Superman and The Flash are in this group of silhouettes. We do see the silhouettes of two women: is one of Wonder Woman in mid-air or is that Diana with a cape or is that Superwoman? There’s a Superwoman book among the already revealed the list of new number one issues.
The big burning question: Is that Harley Quinn and Killer Croc on the team?
As the zooms in like a Flash it looks like Harley in a beret and armed with a rifle and rocket launcher. Behind the possible Harley is a massive scaly muscle man that might just be Killer Croc?
Co-publisher Jim Lee followed up with a share that seemed to confirm Harley’s identity with “Harley Quinn, Harley Quinn what do you see?”
This could be just a promotional image with a varied cast of characters for Rebirth but after Geoff Johns recruited Lex Luthor and Captain Cold for his New 52 era roster. Harley is already starring in multiple titles (and the upcoming Suicide Squad movie) could the new Justice League creative team be moving Harley to the biggest League of all?
From psycho sidekick in Batman: The Animated Series to Justice League? You really have come a long way Harley.
