Harley Quinn becomes a good girl in time to get on Santa’s nice list?

Nightwing and Batgirl come home?

A sleigh full of holiday gifts from DC Comics in the publisher’s previews for new comics coming this December.

Here’s our top picks from the new releases starting with the first DC Comic Rebirth event as the biggest team of heroes take on the baddest team of vigilantes.

Justice League vs Suicide Squad #1, #2 by Joshua Williamson and Jason Fabok.  “The day that Amanda Waller has long dreaded has finally come to pass: the Justice League has discovered the existence of Task Force X! America’s paragons of truth and justice won’t take well to a government-sponsored team of black ops super-villains (with bombs implanted in their heads), but before the Justice League can shut down the Suicide Squad, a bigger problem looms: another deadly strike team is lurking in the shadows, one that could expose dark secrets throughout the DC Universe, with ties to the hidden truths of REBIRTH. Longtime enemies such as Batman and Deadshot, the Flash and Boomerang, and Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn will have to put aside their differences when an evil threat once thought lost to the DC Universe makes their return.”

DC Rebirth Holiday Special #1 This one-shot features holiday stories starring Batwoman, Wonder Woman, the Flash family, Harley Quinn and more with a creative roster including Paul Dini, James Tynion IV, Steve Orlando, Cullen Bunn, Tim Seeley and more.

Supergirl: Being Super by Mariko Tamaki and Joelle Jones, a new coming of age tale for the Girl of Steel.

New arcs:

Aquaman #12, #13 The Deluge begins as Black Manta draws the U.S. and Atlantis into war as Arthur races to find proof of the N.E.M.O. deception to stop the fight.

Batgirl #6 Return to Burnside with guest star Poison Ivy on the attack on Babs’s flight home.

Green Arrow #12 Emerald Outlaw begins as Ollie returns to Seattle to reclaim his life.

Nightwing #10 Bludhaven begins when Dick heads home and right into a crew of former Bat-villains called the Run-Offs.

Superman #12 Sinister Purpose part one with Frankenstein invading Superman’s human hometown.

Issues to watch:

Suicide Squad #8, The Black Vault, Part 8 Is Harley Quinn cured? General Zod’s weapon turns everyone insane but makes Harley sane and forces her to fight her way through a prison of crazies and her own teammates.

Cyborg #6 She-Borg is born. Come on – it’s SHE-BORG! Has Victor Stone met his match?
