A new villain in a story so big DC Comics is putting its entire line on hiatus for 2 months.

Convergence is a new beginning after the finales of Earth 2: World’s End and DC The New 52 Futures End weekly series and features characters from the past eight decades of the DC Universe.

Convergence will be a nine-week series with 40 two-part miniseries in April and May. It all starts with a zero issue on April 1.

DC Comics announced the big 2015 event via USA Today.

Superman villain Brainiac has cities from lost planets and timelines in domes and brought them together for a great experiment that unleashes heroes and villains from across the multiverse.

Ever since The New 52 continuity reboot fans wondered what happened to certain heroes, what events really happened and count.

“What we’re really addressing is they all exist and have existed and exist within the framework of the New 52,” Co-Publisher Jim Lee told USA Today. “Convergence is in many ways the most meta epic event we’ve done.”

Co-Publisher says new bad guy Telos is born from Brainiac and the mystery planet where the domes are opened.

Jeff King (White Collar) will script the main plot line Dan Jurgens is co-writing the zero issue. Scott Lobdell is helping the overall layout of the story.
