DC Rebirth revealed.

Let the speculation begin…again.

DC Comics revealed the new lineup of comics starting with a huge DC Comics Rebirth one-shot by Geoff Johns arriving in May.

Aside from the creative lineups for the new number ones (except for Action and Detective which go back to original numbering) the announcement sparks a ton of questions about the fate of certain characters and hints at a change in status quo.

Here are our big burning Rebirth questions:

Will the new Nightwing star Dick Grayson? The original Robin became a super spy in Grayson. In the Robin War finale, Dick accepted a role as the Gray Son with the Parliament of Owls. Grayson co-writer Tom King is a newly DC exclusive creator so King could be the writer on the new book that gives Dick his second most famous code-name.

Titans and New Titans? In The New 52, the original Titans never existed and Cyborg was in the Justice League but following Convergence, Titans Hunt reunited the beloved team including Nightwing, Starfire, Raven, Donna Troy and Beast Boy. Could Titans restore the popular team the originated in the golden Marv Wolfman/George Perez era led by Nightwing? Looks like we could be getting our classic Titans and current Teen Titans (including Tim Drake and Wonder Girl- Cassie.)

Who is flying in Batgirl and Birds of Prey? Is the Batgirl of Burnside no more? Fan-favorite team Cameron Stewart, Brenden Fletcher and Babs Tarr’s Batgirl was so acclaimed it inspired what some called “Batgirling” of other characters like Black Canary. Will Barbara, Dinah get the old gang back together in a revamped version of the fan-favorite, all-female book?

Super Family? The Super-Man, Super Sons, Superwoman, Supergirl are flying this Fall with new number ones. Is Clark Kent/Kal El officially back and does he really have kids? The Super League crossover by Peter J. Tomasi happening before Rebirth may hold the secrets of these new super titles.

Batman and Scott Snyder? Who will follow the phenomenal Batman run of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo? The fan-favorite writer recently revealed Batman #51 will be his final issue and final collaboration with Capullo for now. Capullo is teaming up with Mark Millar on a non-DC project. Snyder and Jim Lee teamed up for Superman Unchained, will Snyder take on the Man of Steel again, another major DC Comics icon or a new Vertigo project? Could newly DC exclusive Tom King or frequent Snyder collaborator James Tynion IV be the new Batman writer?

Missing In Action? Black Canary, Midnighter, Omega Men, Lobo, Starfire, Martian Manhunter, Sinestro, Dr. Fate, Catwoman, We Are Robin, and Robin, Son of Batman are among the books not on the list but Blue Beetle is back. These characters could be part of revamped team books are scheduled to return with a new number one following the initial rollout.

Trinity? The Batman/Superman and Superman/Wonder Woman books are MIA but Trinity is most likely a book starring DC’s most famous three icons.

What current DC books and heroes are you most excited for or are afraid won’t survive the Rebirth?
