Big news from Dark Horse Comics at Emerald City Comicon. The publisher announced the return of Barb Wire among ten new series in 2015 as it expands its Project Black Sky Line, a revival of 1990’s series like X and Ghost.

Barb Wire is a female bounty hunter who tracks superpowered marks to score massive rewards. Pamela Anderson played her on the big screen.

Barb’s creator says why now is the right time to bring her back on the hunt:

“There’s a greater acceptance of female action characters today, and there are far more female readers. Hopefully I’ve done everyone a solid and written a book that both traditional and non-traditional comics readers will get a kick out of. If not, perhaps I can take up plate spinning,” Creator Chris Warner told The Nerdist.

Here’s the official description and more new series coming in 2015
