It’s such a HUGE week I couldn’t pick just 5!

Batman/Superman #3 Bruce and Clark battle the Batman and Superman of Earth 2 in the latest chapter of Greg Pak and Jae Lee’s smashing story of the early days of The New 52.

Justice League #23 The big conclusion to The Trinity War! The secret of Pandora’s Box could mean the end of the Justice Leagues and paves the way for Forever Evil.

Lazarus #3 Forever is a beautiful killer. The ultimate weapon of her rich and powerful family. Now Forever is face to the face with the “Lazarus” of a rival family while her twisted siblings use her in a plot against their father. Greg Rucka and Michael Lark’s new Image book is a stunner. If I had to compare it to anything to give you an idea I’d call it a hybrid of The Hunger Games, The Godfather, Dangerous Liaisons and Elektra.

The Massive #15 The United States borders are underwater in Brian Wood’s twisted future environmental apocalypse. The heroes of the Kapital are outgunned by rogue former Navy ships in the remains of a flooded New York City but a renegade crew member may be their salvation.

Wolverine and the X-Men #35 The slam bang finale to the strangest storyline yet in the strangest X-book. The Hellfire Saga conclusion will shake the kids forever. Will Logan’s most promising students be lost to the dark side?

(Plus 5 more)

Doctor Who: Prisoners of Time #8 Hard to believe there was a failed Doctor Who Fox television movie in the U.S. The BBC and Whovians count Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor and he stars in this month’s chapter of the year long mystery. Can the Eighth Doctor save the kidnapped companions through Who history?

Itty Bitty Hellboy #1 That little Devil and the BPRD go after Rasputin’s ghost in a new 3-part story.

Uncanny X-Men #11 Just when Cyclops thought he was winning over human support a brand new kind of Sentinel attacked! Will his new recruits survive?

The Wake: Director’s Cut #1 Normally I don’t recommend a different version of the same book but this may be my favorite new comic of the year. The first issue of Scott Snyder and Sean Murphy’s new Vertigo series with insight from the superstar team behind this horrific sci-fi epic of undersea terror and mad science.
