It’s the biggest case in Daredevil history as Matt Murdock  prosecutes an Avenger charged with murder.

Civil War II: The Accused brings the trial to the page with writer Marc Guggenheim with artists Ramon Bachs and Garry Brown.

Before we continue here’s a SPOILER ALERT just in case you have not read this week’s monumental issue.

Seriously.

OK.

Here it comes:

Bruce Banner is dead.

Clint Barton killed him.

The Man Without Fear is the focus of the story but the writer says he will dive into Hawkeye’s condition in the wake of the killing.

“Clint is obviously responsible for the death of a friend. When we meet him he is very very conflicted, to the point where he is almost relying on this trial to confirm he did the right thing. In many ways for Clint the trial isn’t about freedom or incarceration, it is very much about—it is a trial for his soul.” Guggenheim told Marvel.com.

The writer says Carol Danvers and Tony Stark will be represented in the story and “I think it very specifically will shed some light on the backstory of the verdict of Hawkeye’s trial.”

Civil War II: The Fallen by Greg Pak and Mark Bagley will honor Bruce Banner, The  Hulk.

Civil War II: The Accused arrives August 10th.
