Marvel’s massive summer event blasts off Earth and across the Marvel Universe as Civil War II hits the midway point plus a new book starring the new Inhuman that triggered the superhero showdown.

Here are big questions and highlights from Marvel books coming this August:

Civil War II #5
“The truth about Ulysses’ future-seeing power is revealed and it is a game changer. Sides are drawn and the now it’s the “biggest battle in Marvel Universe history” and the story “goes galactic!”
Agents of SHIELD #8 Phil Coulson is no longer head of S.H.I.E.L.D. and “chooses a side – his own.” The new arc: Third Faction is hailed as a “seismic-changing issue.”

Civil War: Ulysses #1 Al Ewing reveals the back story of the mysterious new Inhuman at the center of the conflict.

Two classified, top secret tie-in books: The Fallen and The Accused arrive in August with new details promised to be revealed in July.
