Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD is back for a third season with Secret Warriors, new Inhumans and a new name for Chloe Bennet.
If the members of Coulson’s team are caught up in Captain America: Civil War next year which side will each agent choose?
Formerly known as Agent Skye, Bennet now calls herself by her birth name Daisy Johnson and is leading Coulson’s new squad determined to find and help new Inhumans popping up around the globe.
A schism will crack Earth’s Mightiest Heroes into rival camps when Steve Rogers and Tony Stark take opposite sides when the Superhero Registration Act is passed.
Bennet revealed which side Daisy would choose:
“I think Cap.
Not just because it’s Chris Evans, I think it would be Cap because I mean, that just makes the most sense. Iron Man is not really for her, you know? I think Daisy’s behavior at this point, and where she’s been means she’d go with Cap.” Bennet told ComicBook.com.
Daisy has the power but not the name…yet.
In this new interview, Bennet confirmed she is not going by the code name Quake when the new season picks up. Daisy’s Inhuman power to create earthquake vibrations was triggered after her exposure to Terrigen crystals last season.
Quake is a member of the Secret Warriors in comics. This team of Nick Fury recruits stepped up when Fury discovered aliens had infiltrated most of Marvel’s biggest teams so he formed a squad he could trust. Quake became a top S.H.I.E.L.D. operative and was most recently on covert missions with Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes.
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD airs Tuesdays at 9pm on ABC.
