Earlier this month at Fan Expo Vancouver I interviewed David Finch. With such an eclectic roster, I asked Finch which members of Justice League of America were his favorites to draw so far. His answer included a surprise and what could be an ominous tease for the team’s youngest member:

Trinity of Sin is a huge crossover that’s been in the works since The New 52 reboot. It’s almost the second anniversary of DC Comics The New 52 relaunch which was controversial but successful. I asked Finch what it was Continue reading JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA’s David Finch

As I watched the big screen trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness right before Iron Man 3 this weekend I immediately thought John Harrison (Benedict Cumberbatch) is working with the Klingons!

The Federation’s greatest enemy (of the original Star Trek series) were developed but cut from J.J. Abrams first film.

At the Star Trek Into Darkness London premiere Damon Lindelof appears to confirm the inclusion of the alien warriors in the upcoming film and in a possible third movie:

“You can never see enough Klingons, and I think in this film we’ve given the audience a little taste, but there’s also a promise that Continue reading Klingons in STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS and Beyond?

What if you were forced to watch the world burn?Apocalyptic sci-fi horror from the imagination of legendary creator John Byrne (X-Men, Fantastic Four, She-Hulk, Next Men) hits it in a brand new series from IDW PublishingDoomsday.1 #1 arrives this week.

Seven astronauts trapped on a space station watch as Earth is scorched by solar flares in Doomsday.1. but eventually the survivors must go back to Earth.

“I’ve been thinking for some time that I would like to revisit a post-apocalypse kind of scenario, such as was seen in my very first ‘dramatic’ work in comics, but this time without the more obvious fantasy elements of that original series (mermaids, alien robots, frozen mammoths, etc.),” said Byrne. “When bits and pieces of this new series first started to percolate around in my head, I knew almost at once the shape that ‘revisit’ would take; something in the ‘All-New, All-Different’ vein. And the first time I doodled some images of my ‘crew,’ I knew I was there!”

Luke is flirting with another pilot. Han and Chewbacca are on a secret mission. Writer Brian Wood reveals Han Solo is the most fun to write in an interview with Comic Book Resources.

“It’s kind of fun writing him being a dick and with his sarcasm and banter back and forth with Chewbacca,” Wood said and it’s easy to hear Harrison Ford’s voice in his head.
