A brand new web series explores the adventures of comic shop regulars in a heightened, hilarious reality.

It’s the 50th Anniversary of the Children of the Atom. The X-Men mean so much to so many fans. Uncanny X-Men #116 was my first comic book and I’ve been addicted ever since. And on my birthday this new comic book Wednesday I get to enjoy X-Men: Gold #1 which includes a brand new story by Chris Claremont, the gifted writer who crafted that first comic book and guided the mutants to greatness for more than a decade.
“Over the last 50 years, the X-Men have changed people’s lives, myself included.” Says X-Men Senior Editor Nick Lowe told Marvel.com.
“Through Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Kitty Pryde and the rest of the X-Men, the creators of these merry mutants taught us that it’s not only okay to be different, but that difference is to be celebrated! To honor the characters and the creators we wanted to do something special…hence X-MEN: GOLD!” Continue reading Happy Birthday X-MEN
