Will Smith plays an iconic Batman villain in Suicide Squad for Warner Brothers.

Even non-comic fans know Joker and Harley Quinn but some may wonder about Deadshot?

The assassin with a cybernetic eye is an expert marksman who made his debut in the pages of Batman before joining several villain teams including Secret Six, Killer Elite as well as government units like Suicide Squad and Checkmate.

Deadshot was a major player in the classic run of legendary writer John Ostrander, who created the modern day team.

A rookie X-Man’s lost story is revealed this week in Uncanny X-Men Annual #1.

Tempus (Eva Bell) is one of the new mutants created by Brian Michael Bendis since taking over Uncanny X-Men and launching All-New X-Men.

Eva can stop time. The Australian mutant vanished during a training session in the Tabula Rasa. Eva only disappeared from her teammates for a moment but when you have the power of manipulating time reality can get twisted.

Warner Brothers announced the cast for Suicide Squad. Will Smith, Jared Leto, Tom Hardy, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney and Cara Delevinge will star as the rogues recruited by a covert government agency.

Deadshot, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Enchantress, and Rick Flag are the characters chosen for this Dirty Dozen/Mission Impossible team.

Bringing humanity to Apocalypse?

One of the X-Men’s most ruthless and vicious enemies takes on the Children of the Atom in the next big screen adventure.

Oscar Isaac (A Most Violent Year) will play En Sabah Nur in X-Men: Apocalypse and reveals director Bryan Singer’s approach to portraying the classic villain.

“In the early conversations we talked a lot about that [Apocalypse’s distinct point of view and agenda],” Isaac told IGN. “Of course, you read the comic book, and [Apocalypse is] not so shaded with gray — except his face. In Original Sin and The Tenth Realm it reveal she’s Aldrif Odinsdottir the daughter of Odin. Angela was raised by angels after Asgard’s war with Heaven.
