The Kamandi Challenge #1
Kamandi, hero of a post-apocalyptic Earth and creation of the legendary Jack Kirby. Announced at ECCC, 14 creative teams will take on the title character on a quest to find his parents and journey to known and unknown parts of the DC Universe. Each chapter ends with a cliffhanger and the next team must resolve it before creating their own. In the first issue, The Last Boy On Earth begins his journey by Dan Abnett, Dan Didio, Dale Eaglesham, Keith Giffen and Scott Koblish with a Bruce Timm cover. Two of pop culture’s greatest teams join forces for the first time.
DC Comics and Boom! Studios announced Justice League will meet the Power Rangers in 2017.
The Justice League lineup —Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern John Stewart, the Flash and Cyborg—will meet Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in a six-issue monthly miniseries from writer Tom Taylor (Injustice: Gods Among Us) and artist Stephen Byrne.
“DC and BOOM! Studios teaming up on this crossover is a dream come true for fans of Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the Justice League,” said Hank Kanalz, Senior Vice President, Editorial Strategy and Administration, DC Entertainment. “Stories like this are a great way to have that ‘what if’ itch scratched, combining favorite characters from different publishers in epic adventures.”

Marvel unveiled the first trailer for the next Marvel/Netflix collaboration at New York City Comicon and revealed a major sci-fi icon is joining the cast of The Defenders.
First the trailer –
Finn Jones plays Danny Rand in Iron Fist, the final new series before Marvel Netflix heroes, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage will team up as The Defenders.
Rand is an American orphan adopted by mentors in the mystical city of K’un L’un where he grows up to become a martial arts master and gain the power of the Iron Fist. In the comics Iron Fist teamed up with Luke Cage (aka Power Man) as the Heroes for Hire. But that’s another Netflix series (fingers crossed!)
Make room for even more heroes on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The ensemble of heroes on The CW series will come face to face with a beloved team from comics: The Justice Society of America.
It’s a new season with new threats, new characters and a special guest star.
A scientist seeks Oliver Queen to find the Legends and stop a history shattering event in World War II.
