One of Joss Whedon’s best kept secrets is declassified!

Cobie Smulders will reprise her role as Maria Hill in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Hill is Nick Fury’s second in command in Marvel’s The Avengers on the big screen.

SHARKNADO Inspired Comic Characters

Before Sharknado became the beast of the internet – I was a fan of SyFy’s epic collection of monster mashes including Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus, Sharktopus, and my personal favorite: Shark Attack 3: Megaladon.

In honor of the Sharknado sensation here are two classic comic villains and a newbie hero – all with BITE!

Tiger Shark! This Marvel super villain rose to evil infamy in Namor, The Sub-Mariner! An injured Olympic swimmer used mad science and Namor’s DNA to become a monstrous criminal. Todd Arliss is an old rival of Namor and one time member of the Masters of Evil and the Lethal Legion. Here’s a great shot of a two-headed Tiger Shark from the limited series: Fear Itself: The Deep! I thought it was perfect given my love of the other Sy-Fy classic Two-Headed Shark Attack movie. Continue reading SHARKNADO Inspired Comic Characters

BIOSHOCK Writer for LOGAN’S RUN Remake

I absolutely love Logan’s Run – the concept, the book, the future mythology and even that 1977 movie starring Michael York, Richard Jordan, Jenny Agutter and Farrah Fawcett-Majors!

Bioshock video game creator Ken Levine has been recruited to write a script for a remake for Warner Brothers according to Deadline. Bryan Singer (X-Men) and Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive) who would likely cast Ryan Gosling have been linked to the project over the years.

Logan’s Run is set in a bleak future where humans lives in a domed city to protect Continue reading BIOSHOCK Writer for LOGAN’S RUN Remake
