With Steve Rogers, Black Widow, Nick Fury and introducing Falcon –  the Captain America sequel may feel like Avengers sequel. Now we know the sequel will have an impact on the Avengers sequel and more of the Disney/Marvel line.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier will “set critical events in motion” that will lead directly into next year’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Walt Disney Company CEO and Chairman Robert Iger according to The Wrap.
Iger also reportedly said that parts of the Captain America sequel’s plot will be reflected in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC.

What could happen in Cap setting critical events in motion? Continue reading CAPTAIN AMERICA Sequel Affects AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Serenity soars again.

One of my most anticipated comics coming in 2014 breathes new life into this outer space corners of the Whedonverse.

Joss Whedon created the short-lived but loved Firefly television series which was reborn as a feature film. Dark Horse Comics picks up the story of Mal Reynolds and his crew in Serenity: Leaves On the Wind.

Writer Zach Whedon and artists Georges Jeanty (Buffy, The Vampire Slayer) continue with Mal, a pregnant Zoe, River Tam and the rest of outlaws’ story after the events of the Serenity movie when they exposed the universe to the corrupt government’s crimes against their own people.
