CALISTA FLOCKHART Joins SUPERGIRL

Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal, Brothers & Sisters) is soaring back to television in Supergirl.

Flockhart has been cast as Cat Grant in the CBS pilot according to Variety. The role is described as a “self-made media mogul and founder of CatCo, where Kara Zor-El  works as her assistant. Cat started her career as a reporter and has built her company into a global powerhouse.”

Melissa Benoist is playing Kara/Supergirl in the series from Greg Berlanti (Arrow, The Flash) and Ali Adler.

HAYLEY ATWELL at EMERALD CITY COMICON 2015

Emerald City Comicon announced the final celebrity guest announcement and it’s a huge addition to their stellar lineup.

Hayley Atwell will be appearing Friday only at the pop culture event in Seattle.

CHLOE BENNET of AGENTS OF SHIELD at EMERALD CITY COMICON

Emerald City Comicon fans will get a chance to see not one but two Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. at this year’s big event.

Emerald City Comicon announced Chloe Bennet will join the cast of celebrity guests including Clark Gregg (aka Director Phil Coulson) at the Pacific Northwest pop culture event.

Bennet plays Agent Skye on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but comics fanboys and girls now know she’s really Daisy Johnson aka Quake. When the series returns we’ll know more about Skye’s new super powers and that she may be the first Inhuman to appear in the Marvel Cinematic/TV Universe. Three women are having a major impact on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Update 1: Mockingbird is singing with fans and producers.

Adrianne Palicki has been promoted to series regular according to TV Line. Palicki joined the series as Bobbi Morse, a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative working inside Hydra but now part of Team Coulson.

Palicki is now a series regular starting with Aftershocks, the March 3 midseason premiere.

2: Marvel announced Drea de Matteo (The Sopranos) will play Karla Faye Gideon, a “Gifted woman with a grudge against S.H.I.E.L.D. who joins forces with Skye’s father, Cal.”
